GU Ride Saturday!

Join us, GU, and a bunch of others Saturday!

In an effort to start the holidays and 2019 on the right foot, we’re getting a head start, and what better than to do it with a bit of encouragement. 

Our neighbors from North West Berkeley, Gu Energy, are organizing a Long Slow Distance (LSD) ride this Saturday, December 15th starting from Fairfax in Marin. We did it last year, and plan on driving across the bay once again this year for it (unless it rains!). If you can’t tell by now, we highly recommend it and will plan on attending. 

The ride itself is about 70 miles, and although it is advertised as a long, slow, ride, there’s always someone willing to push the pace. If you want to hang back, or hammer a bit, you’ll have the chance to do either.

The ride starts at 9am at Java Hut in Fairfax, though you may arrive as early as 8am to sign the required waivers and drink complimentary coffee. The ride benefits NICA and there will be a representative collecting donations, cash is highly encouraged. If you’re planning on making the trip, be sure to let us know.
